Bed-bound Bruce Forsyth to miss Strictly Come Dancing
13/11/2009
Strictly Come Dancing host Bruce Forsyth will miss this week's show as he recovers in bed from a bad bout of the flu.
The 81-year-old entertainer has never missed a show in the past five series.
Bosses at the BBC are now trying to find someone to help his co-host Tess Daly present the show.
In the past Bruce has said that because he puts so much effort into the show, he often spends Sundays in bed recovering.
Speaking about a previous Sunday, he said: "I watched television until about 9.30am, then went back to bed for a few hours. I got up for lunch, then went back to bed after lunch and watched football and golf on TV. Then in the evening, I got up again for an hour and had a cup of tea. Then it was back to bed for a normal night's sleep."
Last week Coronation Street star Craig Kelly was voted off the show. Looking for a comfortable bed? Dont miss your chance and enter our prize draw now!
