Lionel Richie 'checks out his neighbours' gardens'

As a big fan of gardening, Lionel Richie even drops by his neighbours' gardens to check out their green spaces, his daughter has revealed. Speaking on Jimmy Kimmel Live, daughter Nicole said the obsessive gardener stops his car to offer his opinion on the upkeep of lawns and flowerbeds. She revealed: "What he likes to do is drive ten miles an hour, by his neighbours' houses and he's like, 'You see those bushes, they need to just (be) clipped'... He pulls into people's driveways." He's not the only celeb whose gardening habits have grabbed attention recently. Actress Jennie Garth, who is also a spokesperson for the American Heart Association, revealed that she has turned her front lawn into a vegetable garden because she wants her children to learn about growing fresh food. Lettuce, tomatoes, cucumber, sugar snap peas and strawberries are among the healthy options which the family are growing. "The girls love getting dirty and picking vegetables they want to grow every year and watering them and growing them.
