Peter Andre lands This Morning presenting job

Australian singer Peter Andre has landed a presenting job on popular ITV1 daytime show This Morning. The Mysterious Girl singer, who recently separated from wife Katie Price, will be the programme's new showbiz reporter, the broadcaster has confirmed. Andre will join the show when it returns from its summer break next month and he will join fellow new face Holly Willoughby, who is taking over Fern Britton's role as Philip Schofield's co-presenter. Other newcomers to This Morning's presenting line-up include interior designer Linda Barker, chef Jean Christophe Novelli and gardener Diarmuid Gavin. Andre's new documentary series Going it Alone also debuted on ITV2 recently, pulling in two million viewers, according to his official website. The 90 minute special followed his journey over the last two months, capturing the highs and lows of his new life, his promotion for his new single Behind Closed Doors and a very special trip abroad.
