DIY facelift to rival cosmetic surgery

 A new 'home facelift' device has been released that offers a £300 alternative to cosmetic surgery in the battle against lines and wrinkles.
The Slendertone Face uses electronic pulses to stimulate the muscles of the face, toning them and reducing the appearance of crow's feet and frown lines.
The company said: "The majority of women are unaware that as part of their beauty regime they should not only be toning their skin, but they should also be toning their facial muscles too.
Slendertone added that doing this repeatedly will help provide a "visible and natural face-lift" without the need for surgery.
Whether or not the claims turn out to be founded, the product certainly seems to be attracting a lot of attention on the beauty market.
The Daily Mail reports that there are already more than 2,000 women on a waiting list to become one of the first people to own a Slendertone Face.
