Dracula Therapy promises to 'knock years off'
06/11/2009
A new beauty treatment promises to turn back time on wrinkles by using your own blood. While people looking for the fountain of youth may have previously tried anti-ageing moisturisers and Botox, Dr Daniel Sister, the creator of Dracula Therapy, says that weathered skin can be rejuvenated with just some enriched blood. Based on the work of dentists, who have been injecting serum back into patients gums for two decades, Dr Sister says Dracula Therapy encourages DNA repair, heals scars and makes dry or wrinkled skin look and feel younger, without the need for harsh chemicals or lasers. But it's not for the squeamish. The treatment, also known as Stimulated Self Serum skin therapy (S3) sees the doctor withdraw vials of a patient's own blood from their arm. This blood is then separated into its three parts - the red blood cells, the serum and the platelets. Vitamins and amino acids are added to the serum, which is then injected back into a patient's face. Earlier this week, the Coventry Telegraph reported that although the high street has been hit during the recession, the demand for plastic surgery has continued to increase. See how you can transform your life with a free laser eye surgery consultation. Posted by Carla Spuri. ![]() |
