Magnetic bed 'helps aches and ailments'
09/12/2009
Poor circulation, back pain and muscle tension can be helped by lying on a bed, according to the manufacturers of the Bemer 3000 Magnetic Therapy Machine. The magnetic bed can also be used to treat arthritis, asthma, gout, osteoporosis, stroke rehabilitation, open wounds, infertility, multiple sclerosis and tinnitus, the Daily Mail reported. Building on the use of copper and magnetic bracelets, the bed transmits the magnetic goodness throughout the entire body using a bio-electro magnetic energy regulator. Speaking to the newspaper about the treatment, Kathy Geminiani, who has introduced the bed to the UK, said: "The great thing about the machine is that it emits a pulse which is actually just below that of the earth's own magnetic field." She added that although the treatment won't cure problems, it will help the body's natural healing process. Recent research by the University of York said that copper bracelets and magnetic wrist straps do not relieve pain in people with arthritis. Looking for a comfortable bed?
