Gardening has been embraced by both young and old throughout the first decade of the millennium, an expert has claimed. Writing in the Times, Caroline Donald has outlined the top gardening trends of the noughties, adding that much has changed. Green spaces have become less about showing off and more about creating a "sustainable place" to retreat to, the green-fingered expert added.
