A new book about producing plants from seeds and cuttings has been launched by Gardeners' World presenter Carol Klein.
Called Grow Your Own Garden, the new book details the ins and outs of establishing a garden without having to purchase expensive plants from garden centres, Horticulture Week reported.
The presenter, who owns Glebe Cottage Nursery, has also made a TV series for BBC2. Filmed at her Devon garden and nursery, the programme, which is likely to be called A Year at Glebe Cottage, will be broadcast in 2011.
According to the BBC, the gardening expert first began to propagate plants because she could not afford to buy the ones she wanted.
Ms Klein joined the Gardeners' World team in 2005, although her very first appearance in the show was in 1989 when Geoff Hamilton visited Glebe Cottage. She has also presented Open Gardens for the BBC and Grow your Own Veg.
