Furniture a 'garden bargain for people spending summer at home'
23/04/2010
Anyone who plans on spending a lot of time in their garden this summer could find that items of outdoor furniture often work out to be garden bargains, it has been claimed. According to the Standard, every year more and more people are opting to spend their spare time in the garden, so long as the weather permits it. This means that it makes more sense to invest in garden furniture, as it helps to make an outdoor space more attractive and comfortable. The newspaper noted: "Currently popular are sling-style pieces featuring woven mesh on hollow, wrought-aluminium frames; low- maintenance vinyl-wicker designs; and intricate, cast-aluminium furniture." "As with most things, the better-quality pieces generally offer the best value." It also advised people to try to buy garden furniture which is made from materials that are resistant to rusting, fading, rot and mildew. Earlier this year, research by B&Q found that people like to spend their weekends doing a mixture of DIY and gardening. Make the most of our garden with our garden prize offers.
