Garden bargains to be found at the National Plant Show
23/04/2010
People looking for some garden bargains should consider making their way to the Horticultural Trades Association's (HTA) National Plant Show, it has been suggested. Taking place between June 29th and 30th, the show will feature over 100 stands and 83 different companies. Tim Briercliffe, HTA director of business development, said that demand for stands has been very high, with all space in Hall One at Stoneleigh Park, Coventry, filled already. He added: "Whilst the venue it extremely well accessed with ample free parking we will also be providing free shuttle bus services from the main rail and air links to make life easier for visitors." David Little from Poplars Garden Centre said: "HTA National Plant Show at Stoneleigh looks great, especially for garden centres like us that are trying to promote home-grown plants, the season will still be fresh in our minds so the show will also help us in our plant range selection for 2010-2011 and fill any gaps for the remaining season." Last month, Lucy Halsall, editor at Grow Your Own magazine, said growing your own fruit and vegetables can ensure you have plenty of garden bargains. Make the most of your garden with our free plant offers. Posted by Jez Walters. ![]() |
