Want a glamorous bathroom?

For years, when it came to decorating houses, people ignored their bathrooms. After fitting a white or pastel-coloured bathroom set, adding some tiles and laying lino, the door was quickly closed on the room.

But, times have changed and the humble bathroom is now as much of a key room in the house as the kitchen and living areas.

If you're looking to glam up the bathroom, investing in a stylish bath could be the way to go.

Ronnie Whelan, editor of The Essential Kitchen Bathroom Bedroom Magazine, said: "Free standing baths are definitely a desirable item and give your bathroom a more luxurious look - an oversized bath always makes a show-stopping focal point."

And, although our hectic lifestyles and heavy work schedules mean six out of ten adults now shower rather than jump in the bath, according to research by Buster, having a glamorous bath might tempt you back into the tub.
