Garden bargain offered by Welsh tourist attraction
05/01/2010
Visitors are being encouraged to visit the National Botanic Garden of Wales this month to celebrate its 10th birthday. As part of its festivities, visitors can avail of a celebratory garden bargain - free entry to the tourist attraction during January. Throughout the month, a series of events have been arranged as part of the attraction's celebrations, Wales Online reported. These include a food fair, Royal Society for the Protection of Birds (RSPB) bird-watching weekends and a series of talks, tours and trails around the national nature reserve. During the weekend of January 23rd to 24th, a woodcraft weekend will be held, where toy-makers, wood-turners and lovespoon-carvers will take over the Great Glasshouse. The RSPB will host two bird-watching weekends, which will include walks, talks and tips about how to feed birds and attract them. In December, the attraction had to close its doors to visitors amid fears that the cold weather could put visitors' safety at risk. Make the most of your garden with our cheap gardening offers.
