People planning a trip to New Zealand will soon be able to learn all about wine and spirits thanks to a new educational course, Queenstown Resort College have announced.
Working with the Wine and Spirit Education Trust, considered the foremost international body in the field of wine and spirits education, the college said the first classes will take place in April.
Paul Tudgay, sommelier and tutor at the award-winning college, will host the first set of classes.
The course has been designed to appeal to a wide range of wine enthusiasts, including "wine aficionados who simply want to broaden their horizons," Mr Tudgay noted.
"It's the perfect way to grow your wine knowledge, taste some iconic New Zealand wines and meet the winemakers behind them," he added.
Tripadviser recently announced that the Marlborough region of New Zealand ranked in its top ten most popular destinations in the world for wine connoisseurs.
