Rail holidays to gardens offered by Orient ExpressTwo of the Orient Express's trains are to offer rail holidays and trips for garden enthusiasts this year, it has been reported.

The vintage British Pullman and the 1930s style Northern Belle are set to visit National Trust and other gardens, according to Horticulture Week.

One of the trips will see visitors take a trip to the Eden Project, with the trains departing on July 10th and September 11th from Bristol, Bath, Taunton, Exeter and Cardiff.

A rail holiday, called the Royal Scotsman's Country Homes and Gardens of Scotland tour, will take visitors to Foulis Castle, Attandale Gardens and Logie House and departs on June 7th and August 17th.

Alnwick Castle will be visited from July 1st to the 3rd, while Portmeirion tours will depart from Halifax, Huddersfield, Leeds and York on May 14th.

A train to the National Trust's Bodnant Gardens will leave on June 25th from Birmingham, Cheltenham, Gloucester and Worcester.

"Bodnant Garden is one of the most beautiful gardens in the UK, spanning some 80 acres and is situated above the River Conwy on ground sloping towards the west and looking across the valley towards the Snowdonia range," the garden's website said.
