We don’t tend to think about it that much, but in Britain a significant minority needs some sort of physical help to go about their day-to-day lives.
I’m pretty sure that at some point or the other in our lives we will all have to evaluate a purchase like this wether it is for ourselves or for a loved one, so I was quite interested when I came across Mobility Compare.
The fact is that the demand for products like mobility scooters, hearing aids, adjustable beds and recliner chairs has raised in the past few years and as a result the companies offering them too.
It goes hand in hand I guess, but how is one supposed to know which one to buy?!
The cost of these things is certainly not that of a packet of crisps (and even then I’m not a big fan of throwing it away even if I don’t like it that much) and their role in someone’s life far extremely important, so I was quite impressed with the concept behind Mobility Compare: a brand new website geared towards helping people like me who have no clue as to where they should start looking for the right mobility solution.
Let alone choose one!
The Mobility Compare team are working with some of the UK’s leading companies in the mobility industry listing among their partners the likes of Aquability, Quingo Scooters, Help the Aged, Willowbrook, Hidden Hearing and many more.
Yes, the choice on the site is extensive, but they have built a very simple form that collects some basic information about our needs and that, once completed, automatically compares mobility aids on our behalf and chooses the
best options to match our needs, saving everyone a lot of time and headaches trying to find their way through the maze.
Useful it is so make sure you bookmark it before too long – It might come in handy!
