Singapore 'has something for all budgets'

Holidaymakers in Singapore will find that the country offers numerous food and drink options, it has been claimed.

Eunice Yeo, area director of northern and western Europe at the Singapore Tourism Board, said that thanks to its Chinese, Indian, Malay and Eurasian influences, visitors will find Singapore has numerous food and drink options and cultural activities on offer.

"Singapore is one of the great food capitals of the world, a paradise for shopaholics and offers dusk-till-dawn nightlife," she added.

"Its rich history and old world charm are overlaid with cutting edge technology for a tantalising and eclectic mix of old and new, making it a dynamic and exciting destination for a broad spectrum of visitors," she added.

People who are worried about spending too much money will find that there is something to suit all budgets, she claimed.

"The sheer range and quality of Singapore's tourism product means that all visitors, whether on a shoestring or splashing out, enjoy real value for money."

In a Kuoni report recently, Australasia was voted as one of the top destinations for travellers wishing to consider personal issues.
